Logging into Hiveterminal

Log in

In order to log into your account at Hiveterminal, visit: https://hiveterminal.com/.

To access the login screen, click the “Log into your account” button in the "Already a member?" section of the left navigation panel.

This is the screen you will be presented with:

You will need to provide:

  • your system-generated Hiveterminal username
  • the password you have chosen

TIP

If you are having trouble remembering your system-generated Hiveterminal username, you can find it included in the Hiveterminal Registration email. This username cannot be changed.

WARNING

Make sure you save the username as you will need it each time you log in. Trying to log in by using your e-mail instead of your username will not work.

Upon clicking "Login" you will be transferred to your "Market" tab.

TIP

You can change the default tab within "My Account".

TIP

Additional security features, such as two factor authentication, can be turned on within My Account section of the Hiveterminal.

MINIMUM HVN BALANCE FOR INVOICE BUYERS

Upon logging into Hiveterminal Platform for the first time, you will be asked to make a deposit of 1500 HVN or more. This deposit will ensure access to all sections of the Hiveterminal Platform.

Hiveterminal users who have less then 1500 HVN associated with their Hiveterminal Platform account, won't be able to see the invoices to currently listed in the "Market".

Forgot your password?

If you have forgotten the password you have chosen at the time of registration, there is an option to have the ability to reset your Hiveterminal password.

STEP 1:

On Hiveterminal "Login" page, locate the blue "Forgot Password" link above the password input field.

STEP 2:

You will be prompted to provide Hiveterminal with the email account you used at the time of registration. Then click "Send".

STEP 3:

You will be taken to this screen, asking you to check your email inbox, which you used for registering your account.

Shortly, you should receive a following email into your inbox.

Click the blue "Password Recovery" button to proceed with reseting your password.

STEP 4:

You will be taken to Hiveterminal "Password Reset" page, where you will be asked to choose a new password. When done, click the blue "Reset" button.

After your password has been reset, a screen will be shown to you confirming your Hiveterminal pasword has successfully been reset.

TIP

You can also change your password within the "Security" tab of "My Account" module. You can change your password within the "Change password" panel.

Forgot your username?

TIP

If you are having trouble remembering your system-generated Hiveterminal username, you can find it included in the Hiveterminal Registration email. This username cannot be changed.

If you have forgotten your Hiveterminal username you have been assigned at the time of registration, there is an option to have the ability to be reminded of it.

STEP 1:

On Hiveterminal "Login" page, locate the blue "Forgot Username" link above the password input field.

STEP 2: You will be prompted to provide Hiveterminal with the email account you used at the time of registration. Then click "Send".

You will be taken to this screen, asking you to check your email inbox, which you used for registering your account.

Shortly, you should receive an email into your inbox. Follow the instructions on the email.

STEP 3:

You can now log into Hiveterminal with the username assigned to you at registration time.

Hiveterminal 101

When logging into Hiveterminal Platform for the first time, take a moment to familiarize yourself with the user interface. This will equip you to better understand the steps described in other sections of the manual.

Top menu

Balance information

"Balance information" section in the top left corner displays the current status of your deposits:

Total - shows the total amount of funds currently associated with your Hiveterminal account.

Available - shows the amount of funds available for purchasing invoices within Hiveterminal.

Awaiting - shows the amount of expected returns still to be payed by invoice payers.

HVN - shows the amount of Hiveterminal Token currently associated with your Hiveterminal account.

TIP

User module

"User" module section can be accessed by clicking the avatar image in the top right corner. User module is where Hiveterminal user can manage their profile information, security settings and preferences.

"User" module dropdown displays following links:

  • My Account

My Account section allows a user to change his account preferences

  • About HVN

About HVN section allows a user to get the information on the current price of Hiveterminal Tokens (HVN).

  • Logout

Logs the currently logged in user out of Hiveterminal platform.

Side menu

Side menu is the menu area on the left side of your screen, which gives you access to most modules invoice buyer needs in order to buy invoices within Hiveterminal Platform.

Portfolio

"Portfolio" module is where the logged in user can manage his selection of purchased invoices.

It can easily be identified and accessed in the side menu by clicking the briefcase icon.

Market

"Market" module is where you can find all the invoices currently on sale on Hiveterminal Platform.

It can easily be identified and accessed in the side menu by the storefront icon.

Funds

"Funds" module is where you can manage the funds associated with your Hiveterminal user account.

It can easily be identified and accessed in the side menu the wallet icon.

Hiveterminal Modules

User

"User" module allows Hiveterminal users to edit cetrain aspects of their personal data, set user preferences and customize security settings to achieve their desired level of balance between security and ease of use.

Account

"Account" tab features on overview of personal information and user preferences tied to the Hiveterminal account of a specific user.

Avatar

Individual user of a company account can choose one of the predefined 4 avatar images.

To change the avatar image, follow the steps below:

STEP 1:

Click one of the 4 avatar images you like the most. The image is successfully selected once the blue border around it appears.

STEP 2:

Click blue "Save" button below to update your selection.

Personal information

"Personal information" section consists of a combination of personal data fields and user preferences.

They are as follows:

  • username

Hiveterminal Platform username is system-generated upon registration and cannot be changed.

  • email address

By default, the email address displayed is the one you have used upon Hiveterminal Platform registration. In case you would like to change the email associated with the Hiveterminal Platform account, you can do that here.

  • default view

Default view field gives user the option to select the default module that opens up after logging into Hiveterminal Platform. Hiveterminal users can choose between two different options:

  • Market (default selection);

  • Portfolio;

  • phone number

By default, the phone number displayed is the one you have used upon Hiveterminal Platform registration. In case you would like to change the phone number associated with the Hiveterminal Platform account, you can do that here.

  • timezone

You can set your timezone to display the time of events, such as invoice purchase offers, adjusted to your local timezone.

  • default language selection

The default language selection is currently not enabled, but shortly after launch, Hiveterminal users will be able to choose between two different options:

  • English (default selection);

  • Slovene;

  • auto logout;

Auto logout allows Hiveterminal user to set a preference on how much time needs to pass before he or she will automatically be logged out of Hiveterminal Platform.

Last 10 logins

"Last 10 logins" section displays the details of the last 10 times a user has logged into Hiveterminal Platform.

The information displayed are as follows:

  • date (displayed in DD-MM-YYYY);
  • time (displayed in 24-hour format);
  • IP address;

Security

"Security" tab allows Hiveterminal Platform users to customize security settings to achieve their desired level of balance between security and ease of use.

Change password

"Change Password" section allows users to change their password while logged in to Hiveterminal Platform To change their password follow the steps below:

STEP 1:

To change your password, fill in the following details:

  • your current Hiveterminal platform password
  • your desired Hiveterminal platform password
  • repeat your desired Hiveterminal platform password

Click "Save".

TIP

Hiveterminal recommends you select a unique password that is hard to decipher. The password recommendation is that it is at least X charachters long, includes at least one:

  • uppercase character;
  • lowercase character;
  • digit;
  • special character

Keep this password safe.

Two-factor authentication

"Two-factor authentication" (2FA) panel allows users to turn on additional security feature to secure your account from any potential unauthorized use, due to your email being hacked or similar.

To turn on safety features follow these steps:

STEP 1:

Toggle the left-most toggle in the "Two-factor authentication" tab.

A modal will display, instructing you to download Google Authenticator for your desired mobile device.

Once you have installed it or if it was previosly installed on your device, click "Next".

STEP 2:

Second step of the modal will appear with a QR code.

Scan that code inside Google Authenticator. Once you see it appear among other 2FA codes on your device, click "Next".

STEP 3:

Third step will show you the backup code for restoring your 2FA code within your device.

WARNING

Hiveterminal warmly recommends you copy that code and store it safely as you may needed in case your mobile device gets lost or stolen.

Then procceed by clicking "Next".

STEP 4:

The last modal will ask you for these details, which you need to provide to finish pairing between your mobile device and Google Authenticator:

  • your current 2FA code for Hiveterminal displayed within Google Authenticator;
  • your Hiveterminal password;

STEP 5:

With these steps enabled, you will be prompted to provide your 2FA code on login to Hiveterminal

Additionally, you can also enable this code to enhance security on whenever you try to withdraw money from Hiveterminal as well as for trading (i.e. buying invoices).

Notifications

"Notifications" tab allows users to change their preferences as to which email communications - in addition to activity-based Hiveterminal email notifications - that you would like to receive from Hiveterminal.

In the current release, Hiveterminal Platform users can opt-in to:

  • administrative emails

Non critical updates that may effect your Hiveterminal account (e.g. new feature or service, policy update, etc.)

  • newsletter emails

Helpful information that you may find interesting (e.g. blog post, special offer, etc.)

TIP

In the future releases of Hiveterminal Platform, you will have more options to control the marketing messages and notifications from Hiveterminal.

To enable these features, follow the steps below:

STEP 1:

Navigate to "Notifications" tab of the "User" module. Check the checkboxes for email notifications you would like to enable.

STEP 2:

Once you are happy with the customizations, click the blue "Update notification" button.

Portfolio

"Portfolio" module is where the logged in user can manage his selection of purchased invoices.

"Portfolio" module consists of few different tabs, which represent different states of the invoice in the invoice lifecycle. Those tabs (and states) are as follows:

  • Open;
  • Late;
  • Closed;

"Portfolio" module also features different filtering and pagination options. As these remain consistent across all three module tabs, they're described below.

Filters

In order to assist invoice buyers in narrowing the selection of invoices owned, Hiveterminal offers a set of filters in the "Filter" section.

Filters can be applied by selecting one or multiple filtering options and then clicking the "Filter" button.

Clicking the "Clear" buton will clear the current set of applied filters.

  • industry;

Industry dropdown allows the invoice buyer to filter the market for invoices of specific payer industries. By default all industries are selected.

TIP

To deselect all, remove the checkmark in the "Select all" option inside the industry dropdown. This will deselect all industries

  • rating;

"Rating" filtering option allows filtering by Hiveterminal invoice risk rating, between 1 and 100. When applied, invoice rating filter will remove all invoices below the number in the input (e.g. when you type in 80, it will show you all the invoices with Hiveterminal invoice rating of 80% and above).

  • price;

"Price" filtering option allows to filter for invoices by minimum invoice price, maximum invoice price or invoices between the two.

  • due in;

"Due in days" filtering options will filter for number of days left until the invoice payment is due.

  • discount;

"Discount" filtering option allows for filtering by percentage of discount.

Pagination

Pagination offers the ability to paginate lists of invoices. You can modify the current pagination criteria by clicking on the dropdown option beside "Items per page" label in the bottom right section of the invoice table footer.

The pagination options are as follows:

  • 10 (default selection);
  • 30;
  • 60;

Open

"Open" tab shows the invoices which fullfill this set of criteria:

  • the invoice has been bought by the currently logged in invoice buyer;
  • the invoice payment due date is not yet passed;
  • the invoice seller has not yet received payment for the invoice;

The information presented in the invoice list item section are as follows:

  • invoice ID;

Invoice ID represents the ID number the company selling their invoice gave as a method of identification of a specific invoice for internal and external use.

  • industry;

Industry icon represents the payer's industry.

  • rating;

Rating is a visual representation of Hiveterminal's risk calculation of a specific invoice, accounting for invoice seller and payer's financial state.

  • seller;

Name of the business selling the invoice.

  • payer;

Name of the business that now has the obligation to pay the invoice buyer instead of invoice seller.

  • currency;

Currency displays the currency the invoice has been issued in. In the first release of Hiveterminal, only EUR is available, but at a later stage more currencies may become available.

  • amount;

Invoice amount, in currency it is in.

  • mature in;

Mature in represents the number of days until payment due date of the invoice.

  • discount;

Profit to be gained by buying the invoice in invoice currency and percentage of the total amount.

This will open a modal that will display additional information:

  • cost;

Cost of the invoice the invoivce buyer has payed for the invoice

  • purchased on;

The date when the invoice was purchased in DD-MM-YYYY format.

  • administration cost;

The fee that the invoice buyer has payed to Hiveterminal for the administration fees in Hiveterminal Token (HVN)

  • reference number;

Unique reference number of the individual invoice inside the Hiveterminal Platform.

  • history with this seller;

History with this seller link will open up an additional modal that shows the history of up to 15 purchased invoices between this invoice buyer and invoice seller. It also has a filter to see only the invoices which also have the same payer.

  • source;

Source of the invoice. In the first version of Hiveterminal Platform, only manual upload option is available, but as Hiveterminal integration plugin to ERPs becomes available, you will be able to see the difference between manually uploaded invoices or invoices uploaded through the ERP integration.

Late

"Late" tab shows the invoices which fullfill this set of criteria:

  • the invoice has been bought by the currently logged in invoice buyer;

  • the invoice payment due date has already passed;

  • the invoice seller has not yet received payment for the invoice;

  • the invoice seller has already received payment for the invoice;

  • industry;

  • rating;

Name of the business selling the invoice.

Name of the business that now has the obligation to pay the invoice buyer instead of invoice seller.

  • currency;

Payed on shows when the payment of invoice payer has been made to the invoice buyer.

  • discount;

Profit to be gained by buying the invoice in invoice currency and percentage of the total amount.

Market

"Market" module is where the logged in user can view and buy the invoices currently listed for sale on Hiveterminal Platform.

In contrast to some other modules, "Market" modules only has one tab.

"Market" module also features different filtering and pagination options. As these remain consistent across all three module tabs, they're described below.

Filters

In order to assist invoice buyers in narrowing the selection of invoices being sold, Hiveterminal offers a set of filters in the "Filter" section.

  • rating;

Rating is a visual representation of Hiveterminal's risk calculation of a specific invoice, accounting for invoice seller and payer's financial state.

  • seller;

Placeholder for the name of the business selling the invoice.

TIP

In order to protect the identity of the invoice seller, the name of the company selling the invoice will be available to invoice buyer only after the purchase of the invoice has been completed.

  • currency;

Currency displays the currency the invoice has been issued in. In the first release of Hiveterminal, only EUR is available, but at a later stage more currencies may become available.

  • amount;

Invoice amount, in currency it is in.

  • mature in;

Mature in represents the number of days until payment due date of the invoice.

  • price;

Price offered for buying the invoice by the invoice seller;

  • expires in;

Days until the current offer of a specific invoice at current price expires.

  • discount;

Profit to be gained by buying the invoice in invoice currency and percentage of the total amount.

This will open a modal that will display additional information:

  • payer;

Placeholder for the name of the business selling the invoice.

Funds

In order to buy invoices, you will need to have funds available on Hiveterminal Platform in both Euro (EUR) and Hiveterminal Token (HVN). "Funds" is the module of Hiveterminal Platform that allows users to control their deposits and withdrawals with ease.

Available funds

"Available funds" section offers the total current total amount of funds currently associated with your Hiveterminal account. In the first release it features your deposited funds in both currencies needed to invest in invoices, Euro (EUR) and Hiveterminal Token (HVN), but as more currencies become available, it will offer a view into those currencies as well.

Recent Deposits

"Recent deposits" tab offers a view into your deposit history. Your latest deposits in both Ewhich are associated with your Hiveterminal account will be displayed here.

Recent Withdrawals

Similar to recent deposits, "Recent withdrawals" tab offers a view into your withdrawal history. Your latest Euro deposits which are associated with your Hiveterminal account will be displayed here.

Hiveterminal Quickstart

To get started with buying invoices on Hiveterminal Platform, we have provided a quickstart guide for you to get up and running as quickly as possible.

Deposit your funds

Making your first deposit in HVN

MINIMUM HVN BALANCE FOR INVOICE BUYERS

Upon logging into Hiveterminal Platform for the first time, you will be asked to make a deposit of 1500 HVN or more. This deposit will ensure access to all sections of the Hiveterminal Platform.

Hiveterminal users who have less then 1500 HVN associated with their Hiveterminal Platform account, won't be able to see the invoices to currently listed in the "Market".

STEP 1:

In the side menu navigate to "Funds" module and click on "Deposit" tab. In the menu on the left side, click "HVN".

Click "I acknowledge" to confirm you understand the risks of sending funds to the wrong HVN address may result in loss of funds.

STEP 2:

Click the blue "Generate New Address" button.

A new HVN address will be generated for you. Transfer the desired amount to that address from your external HVN wallet.

TIP

To avoid mistakes, you can use the "Copy to clipboard" button to copy the HVN address. Alternatively, if your wallet supports sending funds by scanning the QR code, you can click the "QR Code" button instead. That will reveal the QR code with the HVN address you can scan in your personal mobile wallet of choice.

STEP 3:

When the transaction is successfully completed, HVN will be associated with your Hiveterminal account and can be used within Hiveterminal to pay HVN fee associated to buy the invoices on the Platform.

Making your first deposit in EUR

All invoice prices are displayed in Euro (EUR). Depositing Euro will ensure that you have funds available to buy invoices, according to your investment apetite.

MAKING DEPOSITS OUTSIDE OF SEPA

In the current version of Hiveterminal Platform, depositing is only enabled through SEPA transfers in Euro currency. If you don't have a EUR SEPA bank account, you can deposit EUR to Hiveterminal by using a 3rd party service, TransferWise.

For any information about using TransferWise, please refer to TransferWise Support Center.

STEP 1:

In the side menu navigate to "Funds" module and click on "Deposit" tab. In the menu on the left side, click "EURO".

STEP 2:

Choose your method of transaction, depending on your location:

  • SEPA transaction;

For countries within the SEPA (Single European Payment Area) zone.

  • WIRE transaction;

For countries outside the SEPA (Single European Payment Area) zone.

STEP 3:

Make a bank transaction to the bank account. All the details are provided for you below the method of transaction box.

STEP 4:

When the transaction is successfully completed, EUR will be associated with your Hiveterminal account and can be used within Hiveterminal to buy the invoices on the Hiveterminal Platform.

WARNING

Follow the steps closely and fill out all the details, including the reference number, which allows us to make a faster association between funds and the Hiveterminal user.

Buying your first invoice

Buying your first invoice on Hiveterminal Platform is extremely easy. Once you have the EUR and HVN funds available in your account, buying the invoice will only take a few clicks and will help small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) reach their desired liquidity faster.

STEP 1:

In the side menu on the left side of your screen, navigate to the "Market" module. You will see all the invoices which are currently listed on the market.

TIP

In order to protect the invoice buyers, Hiveterminal only allows invoices, which are confirmed by the payer as valid to enter the "Market" module. Invoices with no payer confirmation about the authenticity of the invoice cannot be sold & will not be shown.

STEP 2:

Once you find the invoice that suits your investment appetite, click the "Buy" button.

This will open a modal window with additional information about the invoice being sold.

STEP 3:

Click the blue "Buy" button again to start purchasing the invoice.

A confirmation modal will show up.

STEP 4:

To confirm your intent to purchase, click the "Buy Now" button.

STEP 5:

Once the invoice has successfully been bought, it will be removed from the "Market" module and added to the "Open" tab of your "Portfolio" module.

Withdrawing the funds from Hiveterminal Platfrom

Making your first withdrawal in HVN

In order to transfer Hiveterminal Token (HVN) from the Hiveterminal Platform back to an external HVN wallet, follow the steps below:

STEP 1:

In the side menu navigate to "Funds" module and click on "Withdrawal" tab. In the menu on the left side, click "HVN".

STEP 2:

Click the "Add new address" button.

Selecting this option will open a modal. You will need to provide two pieces of information:

  • Description;

A unique description to identify your wallet (e.g. My very nice private wallet).

  • HVN Address;

Address of an HVN wallet.

After filling those two fields, click the "Save" button. This will close the modal and display your wallet inside the "Funds" module.

STEP 3:

Make sure you have the preferred wallet selected in the "Choose a HVN Address" dropdown. Enter the desired amount of HVN you would like to transfer in the input field labeled "HVN Amount".

WARNING

HVN withdrawal is associated with the HVN fee displayed in the "HVN Fee" field.

Click the "Submit" button.

Making your first withdrawal in EUR

In order to transfer Euro (EUR) from the Hiveterminal Platform back to an external bank account, follow the steps below:

STEP 1:

In the side menu navigate to "Funds" module and click on "Withdrawal" tab. In the menu on the left side, click "EURO".

STEP 2:

Click the "Add New Bank Account" button.

Selecting this option will open a modal.

You will need to provide some information, we have listed below:

  • Description;

A unique description to identify your bank account (e.g. My very nice banking account).

  • IBAN/Bank Account Number;

Your bank account's International Bank Account Number (IBAN).

  • Account Name;

Account name comes pre-filled to match your company name.

After filling the form fields, click the "Save" button. This will close the modal and display your bank account information inside the "Funds" module.

TIP

If any of these information change or are out of date, the registered Hiveterminal company has to contact Hiveterminal Support as soon as possible.

  • Bank Account;

Name of your bank.

  • Account Address;

Account holder's physical address.

  • BIC code;

Business Identifier Code (BIC).

  • Country;

The country of your bank's branch.

  • Bank Address;

Physical address of your bank.

STEP 3:

Make sure you have the preferred wallet selected in the "Choose a bank account" dropdown. Enter the desired amount of HVN you would like to transfer in the input field labeled "Amount".

WARNING

Euro (EUR) withdrawal is associated with the EUR fee displayed in the "Fee" field.

Click the "Submit" button.

Archiving closed invoices

In order to keep your invoice lists clean and only populated with invoices that are interesting for you, you have the ability to archive invoices you have already received the payment for from the invoice payer.

STEP 1:

In the side menu navigate to "Portfolio" module and click on "Closed" tab. You will see the invoices displayed in the list table.

STEP 2:

The individual invoice list item will have the blue outline "Archive" button presented inside the invoice table.

TIP

You also have the same option available in the invoice details modal, except the "Archive" button is blue.

It will open "Archive invoice" modal, prompting you to confirm archive the invoice.

STEP 3:

To archive the invoice click the blue "Confirm" button.

TIP

In the future release of Hiveterminal, archived invoices will get their own module with other reporting and analytics options available to the Hiveterminal registered user.

Reporting invoice payments

In order for Hiveterminal

STEP 1:

In the side menu navigate to "Portfolio" module and click on "Closed" tab. You will see the invoices with an invoice due date passed displayed in the list table.

Click the individual invoice to access the invoice details modal.

STEP 2:

If the invoice payer has paid for the invoice outside of Hiveterminal Platform, please select the one or both checkboxes on the right, indicating whether the invoice was paid in full.

To confirm, click the blue "Payment Received" button.
